Define Posting Type

Explanation

This activity is used to define various types of posting. Those types can later be utilized for controlling the booking process in payroll and finance.

Procedure

1. Open the Payroll Postings window.
2. Create a new record in order to start the payroll posting type definition.
3. In the Posting Type field, specify a unique id for the posting.
4. Enter a name for the posting in the Description field.
5. In the Module field, select a part of payroll in which the posting is supposed to be effective. The options are as follows: Payrol - for general payroll operations, Loanco - Payment- for loan and credit payment and Loanco - Repayment - for deduction repayment.
6. Save the information.
