This activity is used to define a class for wage codes. This class is then utilized for registering wage codes to employees for payroll calculation purposes. Any wage code is required to be associated with a particular class.

Procedure

1. Open the Wage Code Class window.
2. Create a new record in order to start defining a new class of wage codes.
3. In the Wage Code Class Id field, specify a unique id for the class.
4. In the Wage Code Class Name field, enter a name for the class.
5. Enter any significant information regarding the class in the Remarks field.
6. Select the Booking check box if the wage code class is supposed to be used for posting.
7. Save the information.
