Define Default Parameter Value

Explanation

This activity is used to define a default value for a parameter which is then used when you register the parameter to an employee. Defining such a default parameter value is especially helpful for cases when the parameter is supposed to take a given initial value defined by a regulation or labor code as it makes the parameter registration process smother and more time-efficient.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, a parameter is required to be registered in the system.

Procedure

1. Open the Wage Code Parameters window and select a parameter for which you want to define a default value.
2. Right-click and click List of Values in order to enter the parameter value list.
3. In the WC Parameter Value List window, select the value which you want to set as the default.
4. Select the Default check box for the parameter value.
5. Save the information.
