This activity is used to define the header of a document for the project data import. Defining the header is the first step in importing project data. This step ensures that project information is not required to be entered manually.

Procedure

  1. Open the Project Import window.
  2. Create a new record in order to start defining a project import document.
  3. Specify an ID for the project import document in the Import Id field.
  4. Enter an import document name in the Import Name field.
  5. In the Description field, enter a description for the project import document.
  6. Select the Booked Transactions check box if you want to limit the import to booked transactions.
  7. Save the information.
