Define Project Import Settings

Explanation

This activity is used to define settings for the project data import. Introducing or adjusting settings for the import ensures that the location of the import file as well as the way in which the data is imported and any errors notified is known to the user.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, a project data import document with parameters is required to be registered in the system.

Project Import

Procedure

1. Open the Project Import window and find a project import header for which you want to define parameters
2. Go to the Document tab.
3. In the Document Number and Document Name fields, specify an ID and name for the project data import document to which the import will be done.
4. In the Par Deriv Date field, select a date for the import.
5. In the Select Employee section, select the employees for whom the project data import will apply.
6. Indicate a period of time for the project data import in the Import Date From, Import Date To fields.
7. Specify parameters for the project data import in the Import Parameters section.
8. Save the information.
