Procedure

1. Open the Wage Code Parameter window.
2. Create a new record in order to start defining a salary field parameter.
3. Specify a unique parameter ID in the Parameter Id field.
4. Enter a name for the parameter in the Parameter Name field.
5. In the Parameter Type field, set the type of parameter to Salary Field.
6. Select an applicable period of time for salary in the Salary Period field. This value is distribution over a time period
7. Specify an amount to be paid as salary in the Salary Amount Type field. This value is distributed over selected periods. Note that practically, all salary periods and salary amount type combinations are allowed.
8. Save the information.
