Explanation

This activity is used to define a variable type parameter in the system. Defining variable parameters is necessary for registering, paying and recording bonuses and other occasional remuneration and allowances which employees may receive from the company.

Procedure

1. Open the Wage Code Parameters window.
2. Create a new record in order to define a new variable parameter.
3. Specify a unique parameter ID in the Parameter Id field.
4. In the Parameter Name field, enter a name for the variable parameter.
5. Set the parameter type to Changeable in the Parameter Type field.
6. Select the Files check box if the parameter is to be archived in employee files.
7. Select the Description check box if any description is required while registering the parameter.
8. Save the information.
