Modify Agreement Code Parts

Explanation

Use this activity to modify previously defined code parts for the entire agreement. Code parts determine how the amounts of money related to the agreement will be filed in financials.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity:

• Agreement has to be defined in the system.
• Code parts have to be defined in the system.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, code parts related to the agreement will be changed. Any amounts of money transferred to payroll from this moment on will have different code parts. Previous amounts will not be affected.

Procedure

1. Open the Agreement window.
2. Search or populate to find the relevant agreement.
3. On the Preposting tab, add, remove, or change relevant code parts or their values.
4. In the Code Part field, enter the code part under which you want to file the amount.
5. In the Code Part Value field, you can enter the value of the code part.
6. If it's a project code part, you can add the identifier of a relevant project in the Project Activity ID field.
7. After modifying relevant code parts, save your changes.
