Reopen Variable Data Import Definition

Explanation

This activity is used to reopen an import definition for the variable data document. The definition reopening may be necessary in case there are some changes in the text file which have not been identified before which prevents the accurate transfer of information.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, a variable data import document with Closed status is required to be in the system.

Procedure

1. Open the Variable Data Import window.
2. Search or populate to find a document in which the import definition needs to be changed.
3. In the header, right-click and click Reopen in order to move the document to an editable stage.
4. Enter any necessary changes to the import definition.
5. Save the information.
