Absence Data Migration

Description of process

This process is used to import absence related data from an external text file, convert it into information that used by the IFS Application, and then export it to the Absences window.  An external text file is a document consisting of absence related data, separated by semicolons. This data, however, consists purely of values that lack any description and their meaning can vary depending on the source of the external file, i.e., various programs that export data in form of a text file. The Import Absence window allows you to import such absence related data from a file and assign them a meaning that is understandable by the IFS Application.
