Define Loan Import Fields
Explanation
This activity is used to define fields and
data in a text file which will be imported into a document so that the loan
data can be used and processed in the system automatically. Defining fields
for the loan import ensures that the correct data is introduced to the
system for further processing as there is no need to enter the data
manually.
Prerequisites
In order to perform this activity, a loan
import header is required to be registered in the system.

Procedure
- Open the Document Import window and find a loan import
header for which you want to define import fields.
- Go to the Definition tab and create a new record in order to start
defining a field for import. In the Column Identity field, specify an
ID of the column form the text file which should be imported. If the import
is from a flat file, specify the beginning of the string of data for import
in the Column ID field.
- Define the data length for the column in the Data Length field.
- Save the information.
