Use this tab to inspect general properties of a template. Contents of this tab are unlocked when a template is created.
Following properties are available:
CreationWizardMethod - determines which assistant will be used for the template creation. Following values are available:
Encoding - determines how the characters in an export will be coded. Some external applications require specific code pages to properly display letters. Following values are available:
Header - determines if data on the generated document will have headers. If the property is set to yes, the document will have Attribute ID included as a header for each column. Orientation property determines if headers appear on the top or on the side of the document. Note: If the WayOfExport property is set to Xml, no headers will be created, regardless of the value selected.
HR Document - after an export is performed and an export file is generated, there are additional options for the file to interact with external applications. This property is used to determine what happens to the export file. Following values are available:
Orientation - determines if the export will be orientated horizontally or vertically. Based on the value selected, new lines will be added from top to bottom or from left to right. The Header property changes accordingly. This property will have no effect if the WayofExport value is set to Xml.
SelectionWizard - determines if a special selection assistant will be used during a document export. The assistant allows to use multiple document templates during a single export.
WayOfExport - When a document export is performed, an external file is created. This property determines what is the output format of the file. Following options are available:
