Define Base Calendar Activity Periods

Explanation

This activity is used to define time periods for the absence base calendar. The defined time period is then used for setting time limits and parameters for absence types and registered absence records.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, an absence base calendar is required to be registered in the system.

Procedure

  1. Open the Absence Base Calendar Type window and find the absence base calendar for which you want to define a period.
  2. Right-click the header and click Generate Absence Base Year... to open the Absence Base Year Generator dialog box.
  3. In the Start Date field, specify the beginning of the time period.
  4. In the Number of Years, enter a number of years for the period calculation.
  5. Click OK.

Note: You can register each calendar period manually in the table by adding new records and entering correct dates in the Date From and Date To fields. Remember that calendar periods cannot overlap and a new one must begin right after the old one.
