Define Other Regulation

Explanation

This activity is used to define the so-called other regulation which is user-defined and company dependant. The regulation is similar to a data parameter in that it brings values. Instead of the parameter, the regulation works at a company level serving a variety of employee matters, such as general social security benefits and deductions, tax thresholds, various entitlements. The regulations result from the country's legislation and industry standards..

Procedure

  1. Open the Regulations window and go to the Other Regulations tab.
  2. In the toolbar, click the New button in order to define a user-specified regulation.
  3. Specify a unique id for the regulation in the Regulation Id field.
  4. In the Name field, enter a name for the regulation.
  5. Select a type for the regulation in the Type field. The type selection determines an area of the application in which the regulation will be effective.
  6. In the Id field, select a parameter which will serve for calculations and is of constant txt parameter type.
  7. Save the information.
