Define Other Regulation Context Based Values

Explanation

This activity is used to define what values will be returned by the other regulation during a selected time period. Other regulations can return different values based on different input types (listed here in step 6).

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, other regulations along with validity periods has to be registered in the system.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, an other regulation validity period will be defined and ready to use.

Procedure

  1. Open the Regulations window and navigate to the Other Regulations tab.
  2. Search or populate to find a relevant other regulation for which you want to define values.
  3. In the table, right-click the validity period for which you want to define values and click Details. Other Regulation Values window will open.
  4. Create a new record in order to define a value.
  5. In the Parameter Summarized Value field, enter the ID of parameter which is to be used for the regulation. You can use the list of values. Contents of the field depend on the regulation type (visible in the Type field).
  6. In the Value field, enter a value which which will correspond to the registered parameter.
    Note:
    It is possible to enter 5 different values for each parameter. Those values can be selected later during the payroll calculation process.
    By default, columns are named Value, Value 1, Value 2, Value 3, and Value4. Depending on the label configuration, you might see different column names, relevant for the particular regulation.
  7. Save the information.
