Define Parameters for Calculating Formula

Explanation

This activity is used to define parameters for formulas in wage codes. One formula can use several data parameters of various types which are reserved for the payroll calculation in the Get Parameters option in the Payroll window.   

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, a formula is required to be registered under a wage code.

Procedure

  1. Open the Wage Code window and find a wage code for which you want to define parameters in the calculating formula.
  2. Go to the Details tab, right-click and click Formulas.
  3. In the Calculating Formulas window, go to the Parameters tab.
  4. Create a new record in order to add a parameter.
  5. Specify an id of parameter you want to use for the formula in the Parameter Id field. You can use the list of values.
  6. Save the information.
