Define Payroll Template

Explanation

This activity is used to define a payroll template. Payroll template combines wage codes and parameters from a report template with an employee template. This template can be used during during payroll calculation in the Payroll window. It will allow to automatically fetch the relevant employees and wage codes for the calculation.

Procedure

  1. Open the Payroll Template window.
  2. Create a new record in order to start defining a payroll template.
  3. Specify a unique ID for the template in the Payroll Template ID field.
  4. Enter a name for the template in the Template Name field.
  5. In the Remark field, enter any relevant information about the template.
  6. In the Employee Matching Template ID field, specify an ID of the template for employee selection. You can use the list of values.
  7. Select a proper wage code template in the Wage Code Template ID field. You can use the list of values.
  8. In the Report Template ID field, specify an ID for the report. Report template ID is important in payslip operations. You can also use the list of values.
  9. Save the information.
