Define Wage Code Type

Explanation

This activity is used to define types of wage codes. Those types are later used for wage code grouping purposes. The type is also selected while defining new wage codes as any code needs to be classified in one of such groups.

Procedure

1. Open the Wage Code Type window.
2. Create a new record to define a new wage code type.
3. Specify a unique ID for the wage code type in the Wage Code Type Id field.
4. Enter a name for the type in the Wage Code Type Name field.
5. In the Fund field, select a type of fund which will be associated with the code. Note that it is used for grouping purposes only.
6. Enter any relevant information in the Remarks field.
7. Save the information.
