Parameterize Template Usage

Explanation

This activity is used to assign tags to a report template. Every tag allows to use the template in a specific functional area of the application.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, a report template header is required to be registered in the system.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the template will become available for use in functional areas of the application.

Procedure

1. Open the Report Template window and find a template for which you want to add tags.
2. Go to the Characteristics tab and create a new record in order to add usage parameters.
3. In the Tag ID field, enter an identifier (ID) of a tag that is connected to the area of the application where you want to use the template. You can use the list of values.
4. Save the information.
