Select Wage Codes for Payroll

Explanation

This activity is used to select wage codes which will be utilized for the calculation of remuneration and benefits for the selected group of employees. The wage code selection is crucial for the proper payroll calculation as the codes include information on how much the employees' work is worth per contract and work regulations and what benefits apply.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, a payroll header with employees added is required to be registered in the system.

Procedure

  1. Open the Payroll window and find a payroll which needs selection of wage codes.
  2. Go to the Wage Codes tab and create a new record in order to start selecting wage codes for employees.
  3. In the Wage Code Id field, specify an id of wage code. Alternatively, you can use the list of values.
  4. Save the information.
