Explanation

Use this activity to change default properties of a document block.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, a document template block has to be defined.

Procedure

1. Open the Document Basic Data window and navigate to the Document Templates tab.
2. Search or populate to find the relevant document template.
3. On the Document Block tab, select a block for which you want to change properties.
   
   Note: To view and edit all blocks at once, right-click the Document Templates header and click Template Properties Overview. In the newly opened Template Properties window navigate to the Block tab..
    
4. Right-click the tab header and click Block Properties. A new window will appear.
5. Select the block property you want to change and change its value in the Value field.
   Following properties are available:
   • Use Xml Tag - If the document export is generated in form of an xml file, this property determines if an xml tag is used for every document block. If the property is set to Yes, the tag will be used. The tag is defined in the Document Basic Data window on the Document Templates/Document Block tab, in the Xml Tag field.
6. Click OK.
