Define Line Properties

Explanation

This activity is used to define properties for lines in blocks. Defining those properties is helpful to control how the line behaves when the document is created.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, a document template with blocks and lines is required to be registered in the system.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, properties of registered lines will be changed.

Procedure

1. Open the Document Basic Data window and navigate to the Document Templates tab.
2. To inspect properties of a single line, navigate to the Block tab and find a relevant block.
3. Select any line for defining properties, right-click and click Line Properties.
4. In the dialog box, select values for the displayed line properties. You can read about specific properties here.
5. Specify which lines in the block should be affected by the set properties.
6. Click OK.

Note: To inspect properties of all lines, right-click the Document Templates header and click Template Properties Overview to open Template Properties window. There, navigate to the Line tab.
