Define Template Block

Explanation

This activity is used to define a block in the document template. The document may consist of an unlimited number of blocks controlling the document content.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, a document template with all the main settings is required to be registered in the system.

Procedure

1. Open the Document Basic Data window and find a defined document in which the block needs defining.
2. Go to the Block tab and create a new record in order to define a new block in the document.
3. In the Block Id field, specify a unique id for the block.
4. Enter a name for the block in the Name field.
5. If applicable, enter a value for xml tagging in the Xml Tag field.
6. Save the information.
