Define Template Main Parameters
Explanation
This activity is used to define main parameters for a template of a defined
document. The main parameters decide the category to which the document belongs,
the
underlying files and the impact of using the template.

Procedure
- Open the Document Basic Data window and go to the
Templates tab.
- Create a new record in order to start defining
the template and its main properties.
- Specify a unique ID for the template in the Template Id field.
- Enter a name for the document template in the Name field.
- In the Category Id field, select a document category for the defined document
template.
- Select a type of template for the defined document in the Template
Type field. Note that the defined document can be registered either per
Employee or per Company.
- In the Export File Name field, enter a name for a file to which
the defined document is exported or printed.
- In the Doc Template File Name field, specify a word document
template which will be used for creating the defined document.
- Save the information.
