Define Template Properties

Explanation

This activity is used to define properties for the document template. These properties control, among others, the document lay-out, export methods and encoding.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, the main parameters of a document template are required to be registered in the system.

As a result of this activity, general properties of a template will be defined.

Procedure

1. Open the Document Basic Data window and navigate to the Document Templates tab.
2. Search or populate to find a document template for which you want to change its default properties.
3. In the header, right-click and click Template Properties. A dialog box will appear.
   Note: Alternatively, to see all document properties, right-click and click Template Properties Overview to open the Template Properties window. There, navigate to the Template tab.
4. Change properties for the document template. You can read about the properties here.
5. Click OK.
   Note: If you made changes in the Template Properties window, save instead.
