Cancel Payroll Postings

Explanation

This activity is used to revert postings made for a payroll in case there are some errors after posting preparation which need to be corrected.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, a payroll with Postings partially prepared status is required to be in the system.

Procedure

  1. Open the Payroll window and find a payroll with postings partially prepared.
  2. Right-click and click View Postings in order to open the View Payroll Postings window.
  3. In the Pre-accounting tab, verify any error messages present.
  4. Go back to the Payroll List window, right-click and click Cancel Postings.
  5. You can now enter corrections and modifications to the payroll pre-postings.
