Define Data Range for Retrospective Calculation

Explanation

This activity is used to define a range of data for the backward calculation. Defining the data range which is the calculation value, the time frame and employee list is required for the retrospective calculation to be effective.

Procedure

  1. Open the Retrospective Calculations Assistant window.
  2. In the wizard window, enter a description for the calculation in the Description field.
  3. Specify the selection of employee in the Employee Selection section. The choice can be either by Template or Employee Number. You can use the list of values.
  4. In the WC Template field, specify a wage code by which the retrospective calculation will be performed. Alternatively, you can use the list of values.
  5. In the Doc No field, specify an id for the variable document to which data will be transferred. The list of values can be used.
  6. Specify a type of period by which the calculation will be performed backwards in the Period Type field.
  7.  In the Change Value field, enter a value by which the existing data will be changed during the calculation.
  8. Select the time frame for the calculation in the Date From and Date To fields.
  9. If applicable, check the Proportional Month Calculations check box.
  10. Click Next.
