Define File Format Address Sequence
Explanation
This activity is used to create a file format with an address sequence
according to
existing banking standards. The file format definition is used for creating a
structure of information which is needed for banking operations. Such a file format is then used in creating electronic bank
transfers with payroll payments.

Procedure
- Open the File Formats window.
- Right-click and click Get Defaults in order to display file
formats.
- Select a file format, right-click and click File
Format Address Sequence in order to enter the address sequence.
- Create a new record in order to add an address type and a
sequence of data collection.
- Specify a number in the Sequence Number field.
- In the Address Type field, choose the type of address which will
be used by the file format.
- Select the Used check box if the format is supposed to be used
while creating bank transfer files. Note that selecting the check box
disables the file format for editing.
- Save the information.
