Define Payroll Data Transfer Period

Explanation

This activity is used to define tax and accounting periods for which the payroll data transfer will be done. These periods of time are effective for the payroll elements defined in the transfer definition and information sources.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, a payroll data transfer along with source definition is required to be in the system.

Procedure

1. Open the Data Transfer window and find a header for which you want to define accounting and tax periods for the payroll data transfer.
2. Go to the Transfer tab and create a new record to start defining periods and transfer details.
3. Specify a unique id for the transfer in the Transfer Id field.
4. In the Name field, enter a name for the transfer.
5. In the Transfer Parameters section, specify time frames in accounting and taxation.
6. Save the information.
