Open Cumulative Wage Code File

Explanation

This activity is used to open cumulative wage codes for employees. Opening a cumulative wage code links wage code values from a certain time period with current ones so that they can be summed up for calculations and reporting.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, wage codes with Closed status are required to be in the system.

System Effects

Wage code values get summed up which are then reflected in finance reporting.

Procedure

1. Open the Cumulative Wage Code window and find an employee for whom you want to open wage code values.
2. Select records for opening, right-click and click Open.
3. Check if the wage code status is changed to Opened.
