Select Leavers Wizard Options

Explanation

This activity is used to execute the most common operations related to employee dismissal. Selecting leaver wizard options and initiating common process related actions depends on the type of employment and work regulations which are in place for the employee.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, leaver scenarios are required to be registered in the system.

Procedure

  1. Open the Leavers Assistant dialog box.
  2. In the Scenario Id field, select an id for scenario of leavers which is relevant for the employee leaving the company. Alternatively, you can use the list of values.
  3. Select an employee or a group of employees for the termination process by specifying the employee ID or an employee template in the Emp No or Emp Template field. You can also use the list of values. Note that either the employee id or the employee template can be used at a time.
  4. Click Next.
  5. In the Specify Leaving Information section, enter termination details for the employee such as Date of Notification, Date of Leaving and Reason. Note that this information is required to be compliant with the labor code.
  6. Select the Modify Employment-related Data check box If the registered termination details should be recorded to the employee file.
  7. Enter a new status for the terminated employee in the Employee Status field.
  8. Select a new employee category in the Employee Category field.
  9. Specify a group of former employees to which the terminated employee will belong in the Former Employee Parameters. This will ensure that access can be grated to the employee's information after termination.
  10. Click Next.
  11. In the next window, overview the data that will be generated.
  12. Click Next.
  13. Select the Make Result File check box if you want to receive a confirmation file. Specify a location and file name.
  14. Click Finish.
