Configure Secure Sockets Layer - SSL

Transport Layer Security (TLS) and its predecessor, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), are cryptographic protocols designed to provide communication security over a computer network. TLS and SSL can be used to add security capabilities to standard HTTP communications with HTTPS - Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure.

This page describe how to configure Oracle database and IFS Middleware Server to work with HTTPS, based on SSL/TLS.

The following information is important when using services like the connect server or a print agent that resides outside of the application server or for the database to be able to communicate with the application server.
