An external Workflow Server can be called from IFS Applications business logic or by setting up an Event Action of type Start Workflow. The address to the workflow server can be specified on each Event Action. It is also possible to refer to the default workflow server defined in the window Workflow Server Settings.
It is possible to add more than one workflow server and switch which one that is default.
When adding a workflow server you can also set a user name and password if basic authentication is required when accessing the workflow server. Whenever calling this workflow server, regardless if it is referring to default, or not, the user name and password defined will be passed in the call.
