Application Parameters

Application Parameters are defined per Mobile Applications and are categorized by Android, iOS or App.

• Android parameters are specific to the mobile application on Android.
• iOS parameters are specific to the mobile application on iOS.
• App parameters are generic to any operating system the mobile application supports.

Administrator can define the parameter value for each parameter from a given drop down.

The following parameters are system defined and available in all mobile applications:

ALLOW_ADMIN_EDITS_IN_MOBILE - Determines whether the user can edit settings on the Admin screen of IFS Touch App

DATA_CHUNK_SIZE - Maximum data chunk size before data is split

DEFAULT_SYNC_INTERVAL - Identifies the interval before the next synchronization with IFS Applications

GPS_LOCATION_INTERVAL_MIN - Identifies the number of minutes before the GPS location is automatically recorded

IGNORE_IOS_FORM_FACTOR - Options to ignore iOS form factor from user profile

SCANDIT_APP_KEY - License Key for IFS Applications Barcode Scanner application provided by Scandit

Note 1: If the Scandit License Key is set then the Scandit App will be used for scanning bar codes, if the mobile application is designed to use this.

Note 2: If the Scandit License Key is invalid then it will be impossible to scan bar codes.

Note 3: To use the IFS Applications Barcode Scanning application the Scandit License Key must be set correctly and the device must be online the first time a barcode is scanned.
