Setup SSRS Integration for Operational Reports

SSRS (Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services) can be used for designing and executing operational reports. This is achieved via a special report plugin called the "SSRS Formatter Plugin".

Note: This functionality is only available after including the SSRSOR component.

Steps

1. Install SQL Server following this step by step guide written for MS BI Integration.If you only intend to run SSRS Integration for Operational Reports, you can ignore steps 4-6 and only focus on 1-3.
   Make sure to choose the Oracle DB authentication as this is the only supported option at the moment. Also make sure to include the "Report Data Service Extension" in step 3.
2. Once the SQL Server is installed and configured, you must connect your IFS instance to it. This can not be done using the same properties used for the MS BI integration as explained in step 5 in the BI installation guide.
   Instead you have to reconfigure the IFS Middelware Server instance using the IFS Installer. See this page for more details.
